Bought this freezer a month ago to replace one that was 45 years old. This is our first upright, which my wife got over my objection, but it seems to work well.

The second Frigidaire to own first one was great and was over 15 years old and still running when brought new one. Delivery man that delivered new freezer took the old one home with him. Probably still running.

I was using an 8.8 cubic foot chest freezer of another brand. It worked well but if you have items on the bottom, you either forget about them or can't find what you are looking for and the spring holding the lid open was no longer working so we were due for a new one. I have a Frigidaire refrigerator and it is so dependable I knew I only wanted a Frigidaire freezer. With this new upright from Frigidaire, it holds all our items and then some. There is plenty of room and things stay neatly organized and I can see everything at a glance. We freeze a lot of our garden produce and I buy meat in bulk so this is perfect for us. I love the green light to tell me it is on and working which is a great feature and also the alarm if the door is left open. Plus, on the hottest day it arrived, we plugged it in and within one hour it was ready to load. I keep a temperature gauge in it and the temperature has stayed steady at the temperature where I placed it. We love it!

Bought this to replace an older model. Love the sleek, clean design. Appreciate the exterior power light below the door. Gives us peace of mind. The interior is designed to easily see and access _x000D_ frozen foods. Good purchase!

We've had this unit for 2 months. It's a nicely built freezer that looks pretty much like an upright refrigerator. Nice shelves inside and on the door, so much room, well-lit, works quietly, projects a green light onto the floor that shows it's working. Just a great purchase. We're thrilled we picked this one.

I bought this item hoping for great expectations. Instead, this products door does not stay closed therefore I have to put something heavy against the door to keep it shut and to keep my frozen items from thawing out. I do not recommend this product.
