Second unit of the same model I have purchased in the last 2 years and they work just great as they run very quiet and efficiently.

We purchased one of these freezers previously and decided to get another as they are so good. Quiet, it has a light so you can see that there is power and so much room!.

Bought this for our restaurant and it was great until the warranty was 5 months done. After that it would only cool to -5 C. Most chest freezers last 16-20 years, this one lasted less than 2.5 years. Called Costco and they said it would need to be dealt with by the manufacturer. Called them and it seemed like they were going to be able to help. They sent a repairman at their cost and he determined that the coolant was leaking and it would need a new compressor and condenser. I called back after a few days and they told me there was nothing they could do as it was past warranty and used in a restaurant. I countered that argument with the fact that it is an appliance that is always plugged in and even if opened a lot it is a chest freezer which the air stays contained in the box and doesn't cause it to heat up much, if at all. I also asked if it had the extended warranty would they cover it and they said yes. Which is odd that they won't help 5 months out of warranty because it is used in a restaurant but will if it is used in a restaurant and had the extended warranty. I also asked why they wouldn't good will it since it is definitely a build quality issue and not over use since the coolant leaked out. I also asked why my 20- 25 year old Frigidaire fridges are still going strong and they admitted that the newer products don't last as long because of electronics, which was not the issue our chest freezer had. Overall I would not recommend this product or company and I have officially blacklisted them. My restaurant and family/friends will never buy from this company as it's quality is in the bottom of standards and customer service is mediocre at best.
