I bought a very similar model to this one 33 years ago. It finally died. I had to buy this model because it was the only one available because of Covid. It is not deep enough. You need a deeper freezer to keep things from sliding out when you open door.

I was looking for a reasonably priced upright freezer for the garage. The old deep freeze I had was from my grandmother and I did not make use of the bottom of the freezer due to the difficulty to get things in and out from the bottom. I have had a regular Frigidaire refrigerator at my office for years. It has been a good brand for me and I am hoping this upright freezer serves me as well. I may replace the refrigerator in my kitchen with a Fridigaire.

The 13 cu.ft. Frigidaire Upright freezer is a perfect solution for extra freezer space we need, and it fits nicely into a slot available in our garage. We filled it with the first couple of food orders we made, that included much needed frozen foods. We like the green LED light that shines below the door of the freezer, indicating that it is working properly.

I bought my new freezer over a month ago and I love everything about it. Fits into a smaller place than my previous chest freezer. The shelves add a lot of space and by adding storage bins, I get even more room. The green light beaming from the bottom let's me know it is working without opening the door.

after the 3 week wait, it was everything that was described. Held the 1/2 cow, door beeped while filling and fit perfect

I have my freezer plugged into a surge protector so if the switch gets flipped in error it is easy to see that the freezer lost power thanks to the projected green floor power indicator.
