Received this appliance about a month ago. Really pleased with it, love that it is frost free. Wish that it had a lock on it for safety.

Our frost free stand alone freezer is covered with frost every day. My husband has to take everything out of the freezer, wipe the food down, wipe the inside of the freezer and put the food inside The freezer is balanced and has good air flow around the back. Send someone to fix this problem quickly.

Our old freezer went on the fritz because the Door was left ajar. This model has an alarm, should this happen. Why did someone not think of this sooner??

I purchased the same freezer 12 years ago and was very Happy with it. I love my Frigidaire freezer and hope this one last just as long if not longer. This freezer seems bigger with more room. I know it's taller. I like that it is frost free. I only would buy this product for this need.

We never owned a freezer, but with all the concerns that food items may be overly restricted even more so than previously due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, and, since we live in the middle of the woods which makes ingress and egress difficult especially during winter snows, we thought it might be best to invest in a freezer. We love the model we purchased since its size suited the area available in our basement and its upright nature makes it very easy to separate and view differing types of food storage. Most of all, during this time of rapidly increasing surges of the coronavirus in the area where we live, it allows us to reduce significantly the number of times we need to venture into the public arena to purchase food. Finally, its presence evokes a wide span of refrigeration advances in that it now stands next to our functioning 1932 GE Monitor Top refrigerator that serves as our beverage cooler.
