We are retired active couple, with many grandkids in the area so we needed more "on hand" food storage in case we are faced with up to 4-8 more people for a meal, or two meals. Also, we stock up for emergency reasons...power outage (we have a generator), or if something is on sale. The size of this unit is great, not to big, and not too small. Great seal...it actually takes 3-4X the effort to open than a normal fridge...because the seal is so tight. Great fixed door shelves for frozen bags that you can easily see. Well lit...so you can see everything inside.

Had the freezer for about a month. Upgraded from a smaller freezer that was not frost free. Totally worth it.

While this was not my first choice in upright freezers, it was the best available "soon". I would have preferred a larger model, but this one does the job nicely. So far I have not had any issues with it. It has kept the food frozen quite nicely, even though brown-outs in the local power grid.

Got it from local Lowe's, arrived without a scratch, or dent. Plug and play, worked from the moment is was plugged in. Spacious inside, though I wouldn't mind having a couple of more shelves. Plenty of space in the door as well. Runs quietly and I'm truly happy with it.

Light at bottom makes a great nite lite. Since it’s taller than our old 14 cu.ft. Freezer, it discourages storing stuff on top.
