Picked up this freezer to put in garage ( Florida). Waited 24 hrs for Freon to settle, then plugged in. Figured I would have to wait 3-4 hours for it to get cold. Nope, it was Freezing in about an hour. Much better than chest type as we can get to everything easily. Love the green light on outside to let you know it's working. Really like this freezer.

We were very happy that we found the unit when we did. It fits perfectly in our garage and were able to maximize our purchases with the extra storage space.

I wanted something that we could actually have a few weeks worth of meat stocked up and our fridge freezer was tiny. I was leaning towards a chest freezer because the cost was appealing but freezers seemed to be sold out everywhere and our local appliance store had one of this model left so I got this instead. Now that we have it I'm happy I didn't end up getting a chest as it would be hard to see everything I have packed inside this upright. I actually could have gotten a bigger one as we have

This freezer is an upgrade from a smaller non-frost-free unit. We love the bright light that shows that the unit is on. We are a large family so the size upgrade is a huge plus. Not to mention with the virus going on, this freezer makes it possible to freeze more & keep us from going to the store so much.

Bought during Corona virus outbreak. Has great features- alarms-in case door it is left open.
