4 Good range, some updates needed

The good: we like the overall build quality of the range, the length of time for the oven and stovetop burners to heat up is good and we like the amount of stainless steel to black (though we would prefer more black)._x000D_ The bad: the beeps are ear piercingly loud and can only all be turned on or off meaning that if they are off, the timer doesn’t make any noise when it finishes. Would be nice if the sound to leave on and shut off could be selected._x000D_ When the oven is opened whether climbing to its desired temp or at it, the oven drops at least 10 degrees as soon as the door is opened. This seems way too much of a temp loss._x000D_ Improvements: in addition to fixing the beeps, our previous oven had a top rack with a removable section for cooking large items (like turkeys) while still having part of the rack available. We have accidentally bumped one of the stovetop knobs on so this will require watching though they do seem fairly difficult to accidentally turn on, I guess it can happen. Would also be nice if the bottom drawer wasn’t so flimsy._x000D_ Overall, we are happy with the range but if the “bad” items above were fixed this would be a 5 star review.

5 My first time cooking in it, I absolutely love it!!

I bought this range a month ago and absolutely love it. First time cooking with the convection oven our dish turned out to be the best ever. Love the front lower controls for the burners. The air fryer is an added bonus. Now we have it all in one appliance. Would definitely recommend buying this product

5 Great Range, lots of useful features

Bought this range because ours was almost 29 years old so it was definitely time. Love it and all the fun cooking features. Glass top is wonderful and I love the bridge function on the top of the range that allows for longer roasting pans etc.. to be used.

5 It does everything we need

We purchased our oven two months ago and we are very happy. I found it a little odd that when the timer on the oven sounds off and I turn it off, the oven turns off as well. I do like this. We never have to worry about leaving the oven on. The burners on the left hand side of the range top that work as one long unit is also a nice added feature when making items such as gravy in your roasting pan. This range does everything I want it to and is great value for the money. Best of all, no fingerprints!!!!!

5 This is Great :-)

So far, so good. We have loved our stove, it works very well. It heals faster than our last stove, and the flat top is easier to clean. The single large element is compensated for by the bridge, as long you have a flat griddle (read manual). The air fryer made restaurant quality wings, but we should have expected it to get smoky when we opened the door--that's on us, but at least we know our smoke detectors work. We just turned on the overhead fan, and that solved the problem for if you are airfrying something that might smoke a bit. The front dials can be bumped, but we got those so that it is safer when our kids are learning to cook so they don't have to reach over a hot pot. More attention is needed when they're young, but it depends on which risk you want to mitigate. The oven lock feature works really well, but unfortunately does not seem to have a way to totally lock down the stove top. The anti tip works well, but make sure you have a decent wall plate or the tools to drill it into the floor. We have tile, and an older house, so we are now getting a diamond tip drill (oh dear, I have to get more tools ?). Overall, very happy with it so far but the best test is after 5-10 years of use, which we plan to put it through its paces. We cook and bake a lot, so we look forward to really digging in and enjoying this new appliance.

4 Review for GCRE306CBF Electric Range

I bought this because of the many positive reviews and true enough, I made the right decision. So many functions, the only downside to us is the knob in the front that there were times when you bumped into it especially the middle one, it turned on. YOu have to be very careful when leaving your stove to make sure that nothing is on. But overall, I am satisfied.

Oven and stove wonderful. Main concern is ability to turn on stove burners unintentionally. Would not recommend for families with youngsters. Oven probe did not work properly. Service call never came. Had to pursue. Still pending repair date.
