The fridge is nice and we love the ice machine. I would have preferred a different style cuz it feels like you only get half a fridge. If you have a chest freezer then get a different style if you don’t need this much freezer. Personally I like a lot of produce and fresh foods so I don’t think this style is good for that.

So far so good. This model definitely has some very nice updated features from the professional series model we purchased back in 2004 - very nicely done control panel on the front! Love the single back paddle for water and ice dispensing versus the older hanging twin paddles. Love that there’s visual and audible cues when the doors aren’t shut. Love the visual display regarding temperature adjustments for freezer and fridge. In general, love all the touch control features offered. The shelving is even more sensible (can now even store frozen pizzas). Drawers are smooth operating. Lighting is well done. The fact that you don’t have to shut off the water supply to change the water filter is a much appreciated improvement. Also, I like that odor management was incorporated (there are two carbon air filters). _x000D_ Now the cons - fit and finish wasn’t perfect. The door seals weren’t pressed in properly in some areas. The two doors don’t quite align and are off about 1/8”. Even though there is instructions and an adjustment on the hinges, I couldn’t manage to raise one door to match the other (removing the set screw and adjusting as instructed with the vertical raise screw did nothing. Not sure if that adjusting screw is stripped). Also had a small scratch on bottom front freezer door. That said, none of these issues were a deal breaker (hence the 4 star rating instead of a 5). _x000D_ Of all the models out there, the side by side just makes more sense. Easier to organize frozen foods on shelves than in a bottom chest drawer. Plus I wasn’t impressed with how the three door models open and close.

Since day 1 this refrigerator shows poor design and build quality that is beyond fix. Their technician visited and only replaced part that doesn't fit seamless due to poor walls. Sane goes with all drawers. Feels Like will break any moment. Ice maker makes weird noise. Technician cannot fix it because that's normal from Frigidaire side. I am not someone who bought is first fridge with ice maker . I owned similar type Frigidaire 10yrs ago which had no issues . At last, it has water dispenser but it doesn't give cold water. Some one decided to remove the tank which used to be functional like old fridge. Why would some need a water dispenser in fridge with normal temp when kitchen tap water already gives it. This takes away space from fridge and doesn't give any value in return. Great job Frigidaire. ???

We had a Samsung french door unit for about 6 years. Icemaker was problematic from shortly after new. Constantly had to manually defrost. It has now been relegated to the mudroom as an overflow fridge._x000D_ _x000D_ The Frigidaire ice maker is far superior. I like the smaller cubes and the crushed ice is pretty consistent compared to the random shapes the Samsung gave out._x000D_ _x000D_ Have to get used to the narrow fridge compartment but the bonus is that the freezer section allows us to see everything and manage the food better. With the old bottom freezer design stuff used to get buried and forgotten._x000D_ _x000D_ The drawer system in the Frigidaire is quite nice. Drawers have a nice solid feel. I like that it has the deli drawer which we use a lot._x000D_ _x000D_ The door shelves are deep and spacious so we can keep jugs of milk and juice conveniently at hand._x000D_ _x000D_ I don't know about reliability but from reading a lot of information online the Frigidaire compressors do not seem to have the reliability issues of the Korean brands. Fingers crossed we get a decade or more from Frigidaire.

Excellent design. Looks nice. Water is not cooled but some prefer that, I always use ice anyway, though it would be nice if it did a better job crushing the ice

I bought this fridge in October 2023 and Yes I am fully satisfied. The benefit of side by side is that you can find things easily in freezer. I am happy with my purchase

Fits well and has lots of space inside amongst the many levels on both the freezer and fridge sides.
