We currently have a 22 Cu. Ft. foot upright Frigidaire freezer purchased 2 years ago which we are quite happy with. We purchased the 20 Cu. Ft. freezer to replace our 35 year old chest freezer, happy with the purchase so far. One note, would have like to have a higher lip on the front of the shelves to hold food in place.

Bought this Freezer approximately 7 months ago, delivery and set up was great, (Thank you Costco). It seemed OK at first but noticed that certain items, ice cream, frozen vegetables tended to be soft unless it was on the coldest setting, and had to use the Freezer Boost button when adding even the smallest item. 14 days ago the high temp alarm went off – reset it and it seemed OK. 11 days ago it completely shut down overnight and we found an inch of water in the bottom. (So much for the - “Keep food frozen for two days if there is a power outage” – advertising) Reported the issue to Frigidaire Warranty the same day, was told a ticket had been created and we should hear from a service company within 24 hours. Nothing happened! Called again after 4 days and were told we were not in the service companies area and did we still require service? (Well no I have always wanted a 300lb paper weight), so of course I want it serviced, why else would I be phoning. Promised a different service company would call within 48 hours. 2 Days later still nothing. Phoned again and was told the 48 hours was the time it takes Frigidaire to create the ticket, not provide service. Spoke to a manager and was told she would send an email to the service company requesting a technician be assigned tomorrow.(24 hours) NOTHING!!! Obviously Frigidaire does not honour its Warranty. The “WE ARE here For YOU” slogan is just sales BS!! If you want after sales service NEVER buy from this company

We had just moved and our old freezer just couldn't decide if it was going to work or not, so we researched freezer and found this one and it checks off all of the boxes important to us.
