I very rarely write reviews, but this washer is so great I need to tell people. I had a Maytag top loader that worked great for 26 years, but finally died. I did lots of research for the best replacement. I finally chose Electrolux because it had outstanding features, especially the OpticWhite cycle that really works to clean whites better without bleach compared with my old Maytag with bleach. It even took out all the age yellowing of a white robe I brought back from japan 35 years ago. I did add bleach and used the presoak setting, it came out like new. My clothes, especially shirts, come out looking new when before they looked old and dingy. And towels and bedding come out magnificent and the antigen setting kills and cleans away dust mites. Even my down duvet comes out great. Plus, if that is not enough, it uses less that half the water and electricity compare with my old Maytag. Not enough? The spin cycle takes so much water out of my clothes that it takes less than 1/3 the time to dry. And it is so gentle on everything I wash. It was a bit expensive to buy, but the energy and water savings, plus how much longer and nicer my clothes will last, will save much money in the long run. If I could give this washer 6 stars I would.

This washer replaced a 10+ year old Whirlpool Duet. It was installed on 8/30/22 and we've used it about a dozen times since. The machine looks nice, the features are great, and it seems to do a good job cleaning clothes. The reason for the low rating is the insanely loud buzzing noise the machine makes during spinning and/or draining; I'm not sure what the issue is but it doesn't seem right that a $1k+ washer is so much louder than my previous 10+ year old Whirlpool. The other issue I have with the machine is that the door latch doesn't seem to be aligned correctly and hangs down just a bit. Each time we close the door, the latch hits the plastic piece it inserts into and forces the door up just a bit to close and be secured via the lock. There doesn’t appear to be a way to realign the door. I watched the video for common noises/problems and have tried everything but nothing works. The washer is perfectly level too.

We have 8 people in our house, plus dogs and cats, and this washer keeps up with us all. From dog beds to our beds, kids’ muddy clothes, my in laws, and our scrubs, the quick wash with tabs gets it done in under 20 minutes a load! It keeps my teenage daughter’s whites bright and my soon to be son-in-law’s work clothes crisply black. We “found” this as a return at Lowe’s as a special order return and are so very pleased!!! I’ve never owned an Electrolux before, but this has certainly proved a gem!!

Washer is water efficient, which is a plus in these drought conditions. The features are exactly what I’m looking for. No complicated buttons or features to operate. Machine does not make too much noise and clothes come out clean.

It fit right into the allocated space, is user friendly, and looks great. I haven't used all of the bells and whistles yet but I have washed a lot of clothes using many different settings all without any trouble.
