I bought this washer a few months ago. After about 2 weeks I noticed soap accumulating at the front of the washer. The manual stated that this was normal and to wipe down the door and seal after every wash. I kept noticing more and more suds and my laundry feeling like it still had soap residue even though I’d run an extra rinse cycle. What I soon discovered is that the filter had plugged up. It seems that all other models by Electrolux have a panel at the front of the washer to access the filter so that it can be cleaned regularly. This model does not. You either have to contact a repairman or access the filter from underneath the washer, which is quite difficult. It requires removing the drain hose which is in a really awkward position to say the least. This fix only lasts a couple of weeks and then you have to do the process all over again. Before every wash you have to make sure your items are free of hair and debris.

Bought about a month ago and we' re very pleased with it so far. The many options for water temperature and strength of wringing are useful. Tried the delayed washing, which is useful to avoid peak energy use times, and it worked very well.

We needed the washer to open left to right ans Electrolux was the only brand that did that, plus the water is great quality.
