There is a defect in the fan motor that will not allow you to use the highest speed or the motor will go out. Mine has gone out twice and i was informed don't use the high setting as the motor will go out again. I'm not sure why Frigidaire is still selling this with this known defect. Don't buy this model.

I bought this a few months ago and I love how it functions. The light is bright but not so much that it is annoying. It also looks amazing!!

We bought the range hood just over a year ago, redid our kitchen and installed it about 8 months ago. We used it once on Christmas Day and once on New Year’s Day, the third time you used it it did not work the fan was blown! I called explaining to them that although we purchased it 13 months ago was installed eight months. It didn’t matter. We paid over $300 and had a new motor installed it worked one day and is now broken again! I am now reading that the motors are bad we are in over $900 for a $500 fan just over a year old! Where is the customer service Frigidaire! You tell us to call the one 800 number why don’t you back up your appliances and refund the money or fix the problem send someone out on your dime and fix your problem! Whatever you do do not buy this product! I wish I would have found and read the reviews before we made this purchase.

I absolutely love this hood vent. Multiple settings allow for cooking at high temps with no smoke or smell throughout my house. Highly recommend.

This item looks very nice and moves a lot of air, consequently it is very loud. I also don't like how the lights are in the very back of the hood. Instead of shining on the cooktop they seem to shine on the wall behind it.

We got the Frigidaire appliance package with our new build home purchased in May. After the first month the ice maker from the fridge stop working. About 2 months later the motor from the hood vent stop working. Took over a month and many days off to wait for them to fix it. Just got the motor replaced about 2 weeks ago and now the motor has stop working again. I’m just beyond frustrated right now because we just move in not too long ago. We just want to enjoy our new home. We also are self employees, all the days we took off waiting for the technician to come fix we don’t get pay from work. We took a total of 4 days off of work already between the fridge and the vent. And the repair company never have anything available on our days off or soon. They are also rude and hard to talk to. I’m afraid to call them right now. Just save yourself trouble and buy a different model or brand.

I've always wanted a venthood for no other reason besides anesthetic and I'm so happy I made that decision. Its such a beautiful statement. The most talked about piece.

This is a beautiful hood that adds a statement to my kitchen. It has a very powerful motor so expect it to be loud.

This hood has simple pop out tabs for the vents that make it a breeze to take out and clean. It's says dishwasher safe but I haven't attempted that yet. The ventilation, light and look of it make cooking feel a bit more like a luxury than a chore!
