I had an infrared cooktop that failed after 30 years. Rick with quality appliance in Farmington, NM. Found the induction top by Electrolux. It’s awesome. Heats my tea kettel in around one minute. Cooks very evenly with my alclad cookware. I couldn’t ask for a better top

It took me a bit to get used to how the cooktop functions but now that I’ve had it a couple weeks I love it. I previously had another brand induction and I find this comes to a boil faster and has a better design for use of space.

Have had this cooktop for nearly 2 years. If you actually cook you do not want this cooktop. If you want a cooktop that looks good and you eat out or order pickup or delivery this cooktop is for you. The heating area is only 6 inches across on the so called large burners and about half that on the smaller burners, there is no bridge so dont imagine there is even though they say it and show it. I tried to get them to swap the Fridgidaire when we first used this cooktop but they wouldnt do it. So beware of the misleading statements by Electrolux.

The cooktop appears well constructed and heats our cookware quickly and evenly. I like that the cooktop would function a 49 amp circuit saying the need to re-wire our kitchen. The cooktop fit in the published cutout space and the connection cord is plenty long enough to go one cabinet away from the cooktop.

This is our first induction cooktop, and so far we love it. The heat is SO fast and even. The clean up of this cooktop is better than another electric glass one we had. This one doesn't show as many fingerprints and smudges. Things don't stick nearly as badly because of the isolated heat on the induction burners. It's also really nice looking. Installation was super easy and fit perfectly into our existing opening from another 36" unit (non induction different brand).
