This is my 3rd Electrolux appliance, and they are all fantastic! This Induction Cooktop is works great and looks great! I replaced my old gas cooktop with this Induction cooktop, because it is more energy efficient, doesn’t burn fossil fuel, and is much easier to clean.

Second time within one year unit has crapped out. First time tech got it up and running quickly, but mentioned the next time it needs to be replaced. Well now 4 months later it’s crapped out again, first tech with appointment never showed, second guy shows and never came back, third guy no show again. No luck with Electrolux customer service. We are older folks, I was given the address in GA to write a letter for a higher decision maker. The irony they want me to buy the extended warrantee . Go figure. N address in GA

As a previous poster states, am disappointed with the small functional size of the large heating elements. The ends of the lines indicate an area of 9” across. Did not realize that where the line breaks is the actual heating size 6.5” across. To be fair the sizes are stated in the manual. Would really be nice if they actually heated 9” so 10” pans would be mor evenly heated. The cooktop looks great and is easy to use. Though it would be nice if the designers and manufacturers cared as much about function as looks and features.

We recently renovated our kitchen and changed from an electric cooktop to an induction cooktop. It works very well! I like how it heats the pots faster, the handles don’t get hot and it’s easier to keep the cooktop cleaner. The controls are simple and easy to use (once I figure out how to remove the child lock).
