1 HARD Pass on the Rebadged Smeg Range

Better ranges out there at this price point. This is a rebranded Smeg Induction range. The "burners" are too small (I think the largest is 6" across), which don't work on larger pans. The controls are overly complicated. It's the first range where I needed the manual to just change the time. The bridge function doesn't work well, and I gave up on it. I just turn both burners on to the same setting AND they don't cover the squares like it looks. They are just two small burners, so your pan heats unevenly. We used our $150 ninja toaster over more than this range. I had the Electrolux tech come out, and he didn't know how to work on it because it was one of the "euro" models... MUCH better options elsewhere.

1 Warranty period

Broke . Tried 4 times to fix it. Couldn't. It's junk. Missed warranty period by 8 days. Electrolux wouldn't replace it.

I have known the Electrolux name since I was a kid. Our vacuum cleaner was a 1950s Electrolux and my folks never said "get the vacuum" it was always "Please get the Electrolux and clean that up". (We had a veterinary office and there was always cleaning up)_x000D_ I bought an Electrolux induction stove and fridge 15 years ago when I wanted and induction stove and yours was considered the best. They were right I have had absolutely NO problems or repairs with either the stove or the frig. I love induction cooking and when I sold our house this July I tried to take the stove with me but the new owners really wanted to try induction so I left it at my old house and decided to buy a new stove._x000D_ This new one has many more features and options but I am loving learning new ways to use the stove._x000D_ We will be building a new forever home and I will hope to once again be an Electrolux client. Thanks! _x000D_ PS when we sold the parents house the Electrolux was in the attic and still started when, for grins, we plugged it in!

We have switched from a dual fuel range to the induction. The big reason was the heat coming from the gas cooktop. So far, after a couple of weeks, the range is working as advertised. We lost a couple of pots, only had to replace a pasta cooker.

2 A bit early to say for sure...

We bought this range last week and have had it for a total of 6 days. We bought it just in time for a family (Canadian) thanksgiving dinner after our previous stove stopped working unexpectedly. _x000D_ _x000D_ We were originally going to buy a much less expensive induction range but ended up buying this one as we liked the aesthetics, the fact that the cooktop had knobs instead of a panel, and the expectation that this would be a high quality and reliable option. It was the most expensive induction range available to us at the store._x000D_ _x000D_ During thanksgiving dinner, the oven unexpectedly shut off and flashed an err2 warning. We were able to turn it off and back on again and everything worked fine for the rest of the meal however it did cause a fair bit of undue stress... Especially since I can't find a single piece of information on this error code on the web or in the user manual. _x000D_ _x000D_ In addition, the clock is running fast. About 1 minute every two days. So after 6 days, it is 3 minutes fast.. I reset it but it is still running fast. None of our other clocks in the house are running fast so this seems to be an issue with the built in clock and not with the circuits._x000D_ _x000D_ I'm on hold with Electrolux now (it's been almost an hour) so we'll see if they are able to get things resolved. I'm not too hopeful based on the hold time... _x000D_ _x000D_ Disappointing first impressions for such an expensive unit!

2 Very disappointed

Very pricey oven that has a clock that will not keep accurate time and a front element that periodically turns itself off. Have had it serviced a couple of times with some parts replaced but the issue persists. Other features have been very good but it's hard to be impressed when the simple features do not work.

4 Absolutely great!

Purchased Dec. 1, 2022. I just love it! Would like more glide rails for oven racks. They are super great! Can’t find out where to buy accessories nor can I find a parts list. With this info, rating would be 5 stars.
