Not sure if the pedestal is manufactured by Electrolux or manufactured for them, but it is certain the quality of this product is not what I would expect from Electrolux. Its been 4 years with my pedestals and I have had to replace the catch-latch on both. The price on year 3 was $37 and now this part is up to $50. The price is not my concern, the quality and durability of this part is depressing. If you are going to get a pedestal set be sure to get a baker's dozen of "Laundry Pedestal Drawer Latch"

This is the best decision we ever made to purchase the pedestal. Not only it raises the height of the front load washer so it is easier to open and load the laundry without hurting the back. Itself provide a good space for laundry storage. The drawer open and close smoothly and quiet.

Great addition to the washer and dryer. Adds the correct amount of height for your back and the drawers have plenty of storage. Very easy to install, just remember to remove the legs from the washer and dryer before sitting on the pedestal.

I love them. I have two of them, one under my washer machine and another one under my dryer. They are so perfect. No more backache or hard to reach. Easy glide out and in.

Purchased boith the washer and dryer as well as two pedestals. These pedistals are a must have, in my opinion. Not having to bend to load and unload is awesome! The added storage underneath is also a great addition, no more cluttered laundry area. These are sturdy and well constructed. A creature comfort I never explored, but once I got these I honestly don't know how I managed without them in the past - makes laundry so much easier on your back.

Nice and big but wished it had a shelf to hold laundry basket. My old one for different brand did and it made putting clothes in or taking out of dryer much nicer. Now I either have to put basket on counter and walk around or the floor.

I used the shelve to fold my clothes that my Whirlpool pedestal had. Wish I could purchase one.
