I had a chest freezer and I hated it, I could not find anything and it always seemed too full. My son was going to bring us some deer meat and I had nowhere to put it! I have a credit card and in good standing with the company, so I ordered my dream freezer and it is now full of deer! I am so happy I will just open it up and look and smile!

Own a chest type freezer. The upright is so much easier to find items. The chest freezer wore me out moving bags of things to find the needed item. Love the green indicator light too.

I bought this a few weeks back. So far, it's mostly as advertised. The stainless looks nicer than the basic white, it's quiet and freezes. It's adverstised as frost-free but we are getting some frost...I haven't had long enough to tell if freezer will correct this with some sort of frost-free cycle. Time will tell but quality seems good otherwise.

I bought my wife a small chest style freezer about 11 years ago when we were still dating. Over the past few years, we have talked about buying an upright freezer to replace the small chest freezer. We would always check the prices and would weigh our options. We seemed to always say "well, the old one isn't broken. We'll hold off on buying a new one". We decided to look at the Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals this year and didn't see that anyone had the size we wanted. We were looking for a 19 or 21 cubic foot size. I found one place had a 16 cubic foot in stock. We went down to the store and looked it over and decided to buy it. My wife said she doesn't why we waited so long on buying it. She has taken everything out of the chest freezer and almost everything out of the 2 upper freezer compartments from 2 conventional refrigerators, and still has room for more. Excellent buy. Great product and will definitely recommend it to others.

WAAAAAAYYYY better than a chest freezer. No more digging around to find what you need! Just open it and boom there is your food.
