This dishwasher is nice looking & does a great job cleaning dishes! Installation was pretty simple; however the spring-assist hinges for the door made for a tight squeeze. The fitment was tight enough it caused me to think we might damage the hinges or the cabinetry. I almost started cutting on the cabinetry to try to make room but then figured out that if we line it up as close as possible, open the door & then sort of push-wiggle it in; no cutting was required. The unit fits & works beautifully now. This dishwasher also came with very little noise baffling material so I used some of my own to help quiet its operating Db level. This is probably the biggest drawback of this unit - it's much louder than other similar models; however many of those others are much more expensive. I'm sure many will read this review & think, "he applied his own noise reducing materials; but then STILL advised it was loud?!" The answer is 'yes' - so just imagine how loud it would be if I had not added some noise cancelling insulation! Don't get me wrong - the noise is acceptable unless it's improperly loaded & items within are clunking & clacking into eachother during its operation. But I've seen some which are have similar MSRP that have much more of a whisper about them & still clean the dishes just as well. Oh! Almost forgot! The front operational control panel is not terrible and even includes a "Clean" indicator light - a nice feature. However, it IS 2020 now, designers.... The age of the touchscreen! This unit has untrustworthy flat, laminated buttons for every function. The panel looks like you could just gently touch each area once - simple as pie; however this is not the case. This unit has appliance buttons just like from the 90's --- a little square "laminated" area hiding a tiny spring-loaded button behind it (a fake "touchface" if you will). I had a Samsung phone in 2014 which I could turn on/off simply by waving my hand over the face of it - no touch even necessary.....back 6 years ago. Why does this unit have those old, funky, flush buttons simulating & looking like they'd work more like a touchscreen. This is an old design which I've seen on many old dishwashers as being the first thing to wear out, become discolored - damaged - blistered - broken & tattered & certainly not aesthetically pleasing. This and the noise level have caused me to rate the unit with only the 4 stars. I feel this is justifiable because we might not have paid $1000+ (which is simply ridiculous pricing for ANY dishwasher), however we did spend almost $500. Other competitors products within the same price-range actually have heat-sensitive, no- push, touch-screen sorts of controls. Frigidaire makes a durable & dependable product, so that's what I was paying for & also what I'm hopeful for - longevity. However, having less noise & less cumbersome door hinges & a more user friendly control panel would have been nice & surely would have pushed my review to the full 5 stars. These considerations would have made a consumer like me feel more confident in the purchase instead of feeling like I just spent 500 where I should have been spending 300 at most. But maybe I'm wrong - maybe this dishwasher will look good & serve the house well for upwards of 20 years & I'll ultimately regret having rated it with only the 4 stars I gave it.

Very happy with this dishwasher. It's so quiet -- doesn't sound like a giant mixer! It cleans the dishes well, and holds plenty of them. I couldn't be happier with it.

I have ran the dishwasher a good 10 times and it seems to be very effective. It seems on the smaller side though and I wish the top rack was a little lower for tall cups.

This is my first dishwasher but I do have experience with them from working in retail. It's a basic model that gets the job done as long as you don't overcrowd the machine. It has a silverware removable tray and two shelves. It is not quite but it doesn't bother me since I run it before we go up to bed.
