I bought this 30" electric cooktop to replace the original that came with the house. The specification were very clear and useful to determine that it would fit into the counter cutout. It took minutes to place it into the cutout, adjust & tighten the holding brackets, and hook up the electrical connections. It been everything we've wanted in a cooktop. It looks great, cooks great, and cleans up easily.

This cooktop is an excellent value for money. It fit into the drop-in space without any problems and was installed in less than an hour. The quick boil elements are powerful. It's easy to clean with the special cream and spray cleaners for cooktops and paper towel. The only recommendation for improvement would be to have an area showing exactly which element is on. There is only a "Hot Surface" display, which stays on until the surface is cool.

I replaced an aging Jenn-Air cook top that had only 2 burners. For my cooking I really need 4 burners, 2 large and 2 small with a large burner at front to make sauteing, browning, etc. easier (so I don't have to reach back so far with utensils). This cook top is perfect. I don't have natural gas, so electric was the way to go. I have lots of Calphalon cookware so induction was out. I did not want exposed burners because they are hard to clean. The only thing that gets some "getting-used-to" is that pans tend to slide around when sauteing, browning, etc. so you have to hold the pan handle with the other hand.

I went from coil heat to radiant heat and I’m still trying to make the adjustment. THIS COOKTOP GETS HOT! FAST! I’m coooking on 2 and 3 to keep stuff from burning._x000D_ _x000D_ If you already have the connections in the wall, it’s a quick and easy install. I did it myself and save myself the money a handyman wanted to charge._x000D_ _x000D_ The only issue I’ve had is that the size of the burners don’t really match the size of most of pots and pans (I have regular sized store bought versions). Due to the placement of the burners, it’s a little difficult to have more than 2 things on the stove at one time. Fortunately, I’ve worked around it pretty easy but I’m also dreading my first Thanksgiving.

We needed to replace our cook top & found the Frigidaire 30" Cook top on special. It was meant to be. Our daughter is getting married this fall and the Cook top is making meal prep a pleasure.

I have had the cook top about a 2 months and so far it has been great. No problems, a little slow heating water but I was warned about that feature so not surprised. Otherwise it looks great and easy to keep clean.
