Purchased the unit in late June as part of a kitchen update. After new counters have been installed the cooktop was installed a few weeks later. Unfortunately during the first usage you could see that there was something underneath the main burner that look like a crack. I am currently going through the process to get a replacement but unfortunately the warranty company said that this particular unit is on back order with no ETA of a ship date in 2020.

I really like how sleek it looks in all black. Works great. I just wish I was better at keeping it clean. As with all glass-top cooktops, if you spill and don't wipe it immediately, it cooks on and is hard to get off.

Despite your written instructions of how to attach metal brackets to quartz counter top with recommended adhesive, my electrician/installer insisted on creating a metal frame to hold the cook top in position. Once installed,after a nearly three-week delay, the cooktop worked fine.

My Frigidaire cooktop was installed 6 weeks ago and it has opened up new possibilities for me in the Kitchen. It heats up so much faster than what I had before, and I love the dual burner. I can efficiently coordinate my meal timing now with more reliable and efficient equipment. Now, I can coordinate the dishes in my meals to come together at the same time!

I'm more of a fan of the knobless cooktops for the ease of cleaning. But this cooktop isn't bad with the knobs to the side. Heats up fast and performs well. I initially purchased one which seemed to have a defect in the glass but the replacement has been holding up well. In addition the price dropped $100.00 by the time I ordered the replacement which was a bonus.

over all it is a good unit. The quick boil really didn't bring my large pots up to a boil any faster than any other.

Overall, we are pleased with our new stove top. Burner size and placement are functional, and they heat rapidly. Controls are easy to reach and use as well. Our only issue is with the difficulty in keeping the glass top clean. Every smudge and fingerprint shows, despite frequent buffing (we use the recommended cleaner).
