Heats up quickly. That is really important to me. Because my last still with gas and that was the best feature of the gas stove so the fact that this heats up quickly is wonderful.

I had bought this some years ago to replace a cooktop I had cracked due to dropping a lid on it. The symbols have fading leaving it had to read. Also the largest expandable burnet comes in all by itself??? Scary.

I love my cooktop! I love how easy it is to clean (I do use the recommended products) I love that only the element heats up. I love the look and how much it adds to the overall aesthetics of my kitchen.

In less than a month after professional installation of the cooktop, the “ hot surface” indicator light failed ( customer service said it is probably due to GFI ( it is not connected to a GFI not required). The large element using a right sized fry pan at #3 caused the food to burn , even though on 3 it seemed too hot. _x000D_ Customer service suggested that I should have “ turned it die but it was too hot at a level which the manual says would be suitable to use? If the customer service person had been less ready to dismiss these problems as somehow the installation or customer error I might be more positive -
