The dryer used to dry clothes well. Unfortunately, we are having serious issues with the product design and the reliability of this product but more importantly with the lack of ownership displayed by the brand on this product. The dryer lint basket will come off while operating ingesting your clothes into the blower. We were pretty surprise that the company told us they could not do anything as the machine was out of warranty. The machine indeed is a year and six months old but seems like something that the customer service representative should refer urgently ( as it feels like a fire hazard). I cannot deny that my patience was not in a high note after having to wait an hour to get someone in the call so I asked for a manager. To my surprise they told me they could not pass my call to a manager as they had left early. This fact leads me to believe that an hour wait in the call center is business as usual so good luck getting service when things are not working. Everyone can have issues but it is how you solve them and Electrolux does not seem to stand behind their product.

searching manual, and website there is no dryer rack. I had to purchase a generic after almost an hour of searching..

3 weeks old and the lint trap came out during the cycle and was mangled. I called Electrolux and sat on hold for a long time then was met by a robot then finally a person. Good news they have my part in ONTARIO! I live in Calgary. 7-10 days wait. They only ship ground and don't expedite the parcels. So a week or more without doing laundry is unacceptable in my opinion. We have a family of 6, I am not happy with this at all.

This dryer has limited options on time dry- shortest is 30 mins. What if I need less than that? Only option is to put on fast dry- which only works on High! Miss my old dryer that let me pick time and temperature

We bought this dryer in a combo with the washer. We are pleased with the washer, but the dryer has left us hung us out to dry (quite literally in this case)._x000D_ _x000D_ The dryer never worked as advertised from the very first load, namely the auto modes always selected a dry time that was way to high (for example, 114 minutes for a small load well wrung out by the washer). The dryer actually ran the FULL 114 minutes with heat, keeping the clothes dangerously hot and damaging them. The timed dry modes seemed to work as expected._x000D_ _x000D_ Electrolux (as well as the merchant) refused to replace the defective unit, according to their warranty where they can elect to repair the appliance. They sent a technician, who confirmed that the dryer was defective, but with no clear diagnostic. Despite replacing 5 parts over the ensuing 5 weeks (main circuit board, 2 subsidiary circuit boards, temperature and humidity sensor). To no avail: we are even now worse off because the timed dry cycles don't work anymore. Dryer only runs for about a minute and then stops with different error codes (for example, heater relay error and humidity humidity CMS sensor error, for example). I called Electrolux after every service call to report that the dryer was still not working._x000D_ _x000D_ Despite now being 6 weeks without a functional dryer, Electrolux customer support is not responding to remediation requests by email, and keeps saying that they need the service company to issue a report that the unit is not repairable. This was done, but there is no foreseeable action to replace this defective appliance._x000D_ _x000D_ I have no doubt that this is a great dryer when working as expected (as is the washing machine). We are unlucky and got a defective one out of the factory; it happens. But we are extremely dissatisfied that Electrolux is not taking this issue and customer satisfaction seriously. Be warned!

I've had it about a month now, looks sharp, drys my clothes, I'm happy with it overall. Only disappointment is that it is quite loud, louder than my old dyer that was 20 years old.

We bought this dryer a few weeks ago. The dryer itself is a great looking with many options to compliment our Electrolux washer. After installation from our independent dealer we noticed the dryer was making unusually loud noises. We called for service from our dealer and it was replaced with another new dryer the next day. Once the second dryer was replaced it ran smoothly after the first use. After the next use this second new dryer began to screech louder than the first. Another call to our dealer and they mentioned they will need to order another new dryer. The third dryer will be delivered in a few days. The service has been great from our dealer; however, we are unable to give a complete review.
