We bought our freezer about a month ago because we thought our old freezer we have had for 33 years was about to die. We chose the upright freezer because it is easer to access and you can easily see what is in the freezer without bending down into the freezer. The freezer takes up less space and has been working great. The only complaint I have is that we found out if you have too many heavy items in the door storage, the door will pop open unexpectedly. We had too many jugs of ice that we use in our coolers stored in the door. Once we removed some of the jugs, we have not had any trouble with the door popping open. Overall, it is a really nice freezer.

We had our previous freezer for over 30 years. This new one's features are new to us and absolutely wonderful: frost free, light illuminates under door to show it's secured, alarm rings if door is ajar, it's not too big, and perfect for two people wanting to freeze some bulk items. We could not be happier and just hope it has longevity as well!

We are so very happy with this freezer. The size is perfect for us. It cooled down almost immediately allowing us to transfer all our items from our old one so we didn’t lose anything. We love the green light it casts on the floor letting us know it’s on and working properly

Bought the Frigidaire 16ft upright to replace a three year old Sears Kenmore chest freezer, compressor went out and cost to repair was 3 times what I paid for... I still cling to idea and hope that Sears was still a trusted brand, no longer._x000D_ Wanted to try upright this time and researched and the Fridg had good reviews, started looking but quickly realized finding any upright in stock was the rule._x000D_ Jeff Lynch in Greenville had exactly what I was looking for 16ft upright AND Frigidaire. Have had it for 6 weeks now and love it. The shelves are very strong holding more meat than I thought they would without bending, the green power light is very visible, temp control dial is easily accessible, the 4 door shelves hold a lot as well and the door shuts very tight, when closed it almost sounds like it is vacuumed shut. Love the fact that virtually every package of meat is insight and do not have to dig at all. If you’re looking for freezer, I highly recommend this 16ft’er’!!!!!

We got it set up and leveled and turned on. It cools great!_x000D_ I put a 1/4 of a beef plus other food in it. _x000D_ Then I saw frost inside the door. _x000D_ When we checked further there was a gap going down the top half of the door gasket. _x000D_ We double checked it was level and square and no wobble._x000D_ Here the top hinge won't let the door seat properly against the freezer. It actually pushes it out away from the door. _x000D_ It appears the holes are drilled 1/8" +/- off of where they should be._x000D_ Well its Saturday...no customer service of any kind available from frigidaire until Monday. Not even just a customer service rep to talk to._x000D_ I've been searching everywhere for an induction range trying to decide between frigidaire or GE. This is a big point to help me decide I don't want to risk it on frigidaire. _x000D_ All because I can't get a correct hinge!_x000D_ I'm off to Twitter...bye

I’ve only had this freezer for about a month, but so far I love it. I particularly like the light that reassures you that the freezer is running and closed. I had experience with another upright which regularly was not closed. Not good.

I bought the upright freezer about a month ago. Purchasing online was easy and spelled out carefully. The delivery was painless, and installed in its spot with no trouble. _x000D_ At this time, the freezer is performing as advertised.

Bought this to replace a freezer that went out, they are the same quebic feet but the newer model is much small in overall size.
