I bought a chest freezer several years ago when I got a really good deal on it and after we had purchased our French door fridge for the house; which does not have hardly any freezer space. At the time, I didn't realize how much I'd use a deep freeze. I quickly learned, A LOT. However, the chest is such a pain because you have to dig everything out to get to what you want! I've always had 2 refrigerators and replaced my garage one with a Frigidaire and that is why I chose this chest. The brand has served me well. I've added before and after photos of what my garage freezers looked like before and after. Highly recommend this freezer.

Bought this a month ago for extra storage as we’ve been talking about getting this for quite some time even before pandemic started. It has plenty of room and glad we didn’t get the 16 cu size as once we got it, it has plenty of room. I like the light on the bottom that tells you its running. recommended if you’re looking for a extra freezer, you can’t go wrong.

This is my second freezer purchase in 2020. Initially, I bought a cheap 7cu ft chest freezer from Home Depot. It worked okay, but made me realize its limitations, and appreciate the awesome features of this frigidaire 13 cu ft upright unit. _x000D_ 1) Easy to see what you have in the freezer. Instead of digging through layers of frozen bags to see what's at the bottom, now you can just open up and see how many bags of each item you have. Awesome!_x000D_ 2) No ice buildup. My cheap chest unit started building up ice deposits around, and I'll need to figure out a way to defrost it. No worries with the frigidaire unit. Big plus!_x000D_ 3) Awesome design for cold air circulation, even when you have pushed items all the way back (we are humans, we'll never leave an inch on the back for circulation). This freezer is designed to allow air flow behind items even as they're fully pushed against the back. _x000D_ 4) Haven't tested this (knock on wood), but i feel easier because of their claim for food being okay for 2 days without power. _x000D_ 5) Door design with lots of convenient shelves for additional storage and easy organization._x000D_ _x000D_ Cons: None so far!

When I first bought this freezer, the seal leaked, so I had ice inside my frost less freezer. Lowe's came out and adjusted the seal as it was "squashed". It now works without making frost.

We have been using our freezer for a month and really appreciate the large capacity. Even though the door is reversible, we had issues when we tried to reverse the door. It was delivered to open on the left (hinge on the right). When we reversed the door, the screw holes on the left were not properly aligned to the door. The freezer felt like it wasn't sealed properly and could be leaking air on the bottom. The freezer was level on all sides. The green light was solid, indicating there was no issue, so we left it. After a few days, everything in the freezer was starting to melt/defrost and the light was flashing to indicate it was not sealed properly. After trying to tighten screws, etc. we finally reversed the door again and have not experienced any issues since doing this. It is unfortunate that the door did not seal properly on our preferred side, but it is working and the capacity has been great.

Really quiet and really like the alarm that lets you know if you left the door open. My girlfriend has had it happen twice and the alarm saved the day
