We really want to love this refrigerator but are having a major issue regarding the space needed to open the doors. We specifically limited out search to Counter Depth units, but as CeeJayCee points out in his/her 1-star review “It cannot be installed counter depth because the doors are so bulky that they hit the counter and the wall on either side of the enclosure-- which is maddening-- so I sacrificed space for counter-depth but now this protrudes into the kitchen so I can open the doors.”_x000D_ _x000D_ We are having the same problem. In fact, unless ours was improperly assembled or there is an alternative hinge, it makes the review by Ashlee Bee (titled “Super Sleek Design!”) HIGHLY SUSPECT….since the first picture in that review shows the refrigerator pushed flat with the counter and the second picture shows the open doors, but the doors on ours will not open when pushed flush since they hinges require at least 4.5 inches of additional clearance on each side. Even if the unit is pulled out to give room for the doors to open, without some type of adjustable stopper, the side of the door will hit the side of the cabinet/wall. _x000D_ _x000D_ Unless there is an alternative hinge, with a euro-style clamshell which allows it to pivot out when opening, then we will return it. Too bad since we love the features.

DO NOT BUY THIS FRIDGE. door hinge mechanism makes the doors swing back and hits everything. There is an incredibly loud grinding noise periodically. Extremely disappointed immediately upon putting the fridge in place. Could not reach anybody to talk to on the phone.

We just received our new fridge and I love it but.... We are having a hard time figuring out how to turn on the freezer ice maker. The ice maker on the door is not keeping up with our family. We run out of ice before the day runs out. Also, we are having a hard time with the top rolling shelf coming off the track in the freezer. Kind of hard to slide back and forth without in coming off the track. Other than that I love my fridge so much.

Terrible experience! We got this fridge in Aug 2020 and it stopped working after 2 months. Electrolux sent us different technicians 3 times for the last 3 months and they replaced all parts they could but this fridge still is out of order.

We bought the top of the line model PRMC2285AF, MSRP $3,749 and it is by far and away the very worst refrigerator we have ever owned. It makes unbearably loud noises that are completely unacceptable for a top of the line model. We bought the extended 4 year warranty and have had service (absolutely worthless) out to fix it to no avail. I WANT MY MONEY BACK!

This refrigerator has 2 major design flaws. The doors are very boxy, open very wide, and bind on the walls of my home, in spite of this fridge fitting the perfectly in the space provided. There is also an internal component that runs at over 70 decibals (can be heard in every room of my 2600 sf home). I called Frigidaire and was promised a service tech would be out the next day to investigate issues. That was the last action. No serviceman ever showed. I waited around all day. Aside from looking nice, I pretty much _x000D_ hate this fridge.

Bought this for its great professional styling, 4-door functionality and "counter depth". Though it fits into the designated area...if you want the doors to open all the way, forget it! Due to the design of the door hinges, the unit sticks-out 6 inches beyond the counters. Do not purchase if it goes next to a wall. The doors won't open! Also, it is very quiet when running in general. But, when the compressor clicks-on it sounds like an Airbus300 trying to gain altitude to 30,000 feet! It is VERY loud. Do not try to have a relaxing conversation during a meal!

Other than the three service calls in less than a (first) year that never resolved the problem of the unit leaking water I like some features. It is a shame as it really would have fit the bill.

We bought this fridge running it was actual stainless steel. After having fire a few days and have a couple magnets on the fridge we noticed scratches. _x000D_ The handle is real stainless and didn't scratch, our range hood is stainless and didn't scratch either. but rub a child's number magnet across the fridge and you'll get a scratch. I'm suspecting a painted finish. This is total BS considering we paid over $3000 for this fridge. After closer indispection you can see scratches and rub marks on the edges of the doors, probably from packaging. _x000D_ So my suggestion, if your looking fur a stainless steel fridge, bring a magnet with you to see if it scratches it, since most people put magnets on there fridge.
