I recently purchased this washer to replace a 15 year old one that started to fail. So far, I'm been very happy with the Electrolux washer. The machine has s very efficient and does an excellent job getting my clothes clean. I appreciate the many wash settings to tackle any type laundry needs.

Our Samsung washer broke after 10 years due to a floor. One of the two circuit boards got wet and there is no replacement part. Asked the repairman the above question, then we bought Electrolux._x000D_ Fine machine, easy to use, very solid. The rubber gasket has three holes to drain water so you don't get mold. We still wipe it and leave the door open to dry it out, but that happens MUCH faster than for the Samsung._x000D_ No problem washing runner carpets._x000D_ _x000D_ Wife is happy, who could ask for more?

Just bought the washer and dryer a month ago maybe after having the model 3. I was very pleased with that unit which is why we decided to go with Electrolux again but having moved we chose to buy a new set. I have one big issue and it’s that when doing laundry anything quite small, my toddlers socks, their wash cloths all end up in the rubber ring at the front of the unit. When the lid is done, these are sopping wet which means all that extra water cannot be rinsed out and emptied during the load. I do wipe it religiously after every load but I just know it’s going to mold up, unlike my previous model. Things are coming out and I have to ring them out. Big flaw which is very disappointing. Trying to submit a photo but it’s not allowing me to open option2 below.

Absolute trash. Purchased this washer in early July 2024 and two weeks later the door locked shut and would not open. There’s no emergency latch to release the door lock, which is a HUGE design flaw not to mention a safety hazard. Imagine if a child or pet ended up locked in the washer, and you had to pry the door off. Went through Electrolux to schedule a repair, only to find out an electrical wire had disconnected causing the issue. Issue was quickly resolved by the repairman - a third party service provider. One month later (September 2024) I’m having the same issue but no wire appears to be loose. The interior light also will not turn off, adding to the issue. The Customer support was painfully slow and I’m now stuck waiting for the repair company to see whether this can be fixed. Do not buy this washer. Electrolux takes no responsibility for their products as evidenced by the numerous negative reviews.
