I have only had this washer for about a month so I cannot speak to its longevity or ease of repairs, but so far I am very pleased with its performance. I was specifically seeking a washer that had a Hand Wash cycle with low agitation to wash my hand-knit woolens. This Electrolux model was one of the few I could find that offered this feature and it works very well. My wool sweaters and socks came out of the wash successfully cleaned with no damage. The drum capacity is generous and is the drum is nicely illuminated. Vibration during the spin cycle is minimal and the clothes come out well spun but with minimal wrinkling. I like how much control to customize your wash cycle this machine offers. The 15 minute wash cycle is speedy but doesn’t completely clear a sweaty garment of odors. Given the quick wash time this is not surprising, so I would only use this cycle for very lightly soiled items.

After a install by the dealer that was amateurish to say the least we finally got the washer to work after a flooding from the downtube, which we had to extend by 3" to exceed the minimum height above floorlevel required for your machine and leveling it properly to eliminate severe shaking. We are very satisfied with the washer itself.

I bought this unit 2 months ago and I'm thrilled with the performance so far, especially compared to my old school top load machine it replaced. This unit is quieter, washes well and removes so much water in its spin cucle, resulting in shorter dry times

Spend some time with the user guide, there are almost too many combinations possible! It works very well. Only wish it remembered all the options from one wash to the next, but I always have to re-select at least one option.
