Love this washer overall, however I’m very disappointed in the design of the door latch. The machines female receiver doesn’t align with the doors male latch. No way to adjust per the service tech. You have to manually raise the door slightly to push it closed. You cannot simply swing the door closed. Went back to retailer and they are all this way (stupid design). Went back to retailer and they are all designed like this.

We just sold our home in California, and our laundry room was remodeled in early 2021. In the recent remodel we had purchased the Electrolux 600 series washer and dryer, stacking them for more room. I HATE doing laundry, but love love love this pair. When we sold our home and purchased a new place in Reno Nevada I was truly sad to leave them behind. Our new current home had a Samsung top loader washer and Samsung dryer set a year old…OMG..what a terrible difference.The Samsung twisted our clothes, and the dryer took forever to get clothes dry. I hated them. I went to our local high end appliance dealer, and purchased a new set of Electrolux 500s . I wanted the 600s but with the supply chain, they didn’t have them, so decided to get the 500s. Bottom line, I love them. There are subtle differences, but they clean and dry as well as the 600s. Our daughter and her family needed a new washer and dryer, so the Samsung pair went to them. Highly recommend the washers and dryers from Electrolux

Love the machine. Easy to understand control panel, but the buzzer for when cycle is complete is not loud enough and it can’t be adjusted. Bummer!

Great washing machine, a whole range of different options. Wrings the clothes very dry. , The only thing it doesn't have that I wish it did, would be a just spin option.

I have had this series of washers bookmarked for several years based on the features and especially the customer reviews. Then the passing of our old toploader (combined with the strong recommendation of a friend who owns his own appliance repair business) meant it was time to finally buy it. I am delighted with the features, the functional layout of controls, the cleaning performance, and the high water removal efficiency making subsequent drying much faster. And the final recommendation: our teen is much more motivated to do his laundry.

To say I'm excited to do the laundry now is an understatement with this machine. My Samsung washer broke for over a month as I hand washed my clothes while trying to find a replacement washer. Searching through reviews of supposedly "best washers", I found Electrolux was at the top. I already have their vacuum so I figured I couldn't be making a bad decision. This unit really washes and does a quick job! I can't be the only one fascinated to occasional just wash a few seconds of the cycle run. Coming from a top loader to a side loader, I may be a bit of a novice but I haven't found any flaws yet.
