We bought this to replace our kenmore OTR microwave that quit working. We were looking for one that had the same dimensions so that we didn’t have to redrill holes and remove tiles. We found that the kenmore one was made by Frigidaire so we started to look at those first. The microwave we purchased had the same measurements as the old kenmore one. It fit so perfectly that we didn’t have to replace the bracket or drill new holes. We have a Frigidaire gallery range and fridge and so it matches great. The microwave works wonderfully. The buttons are very responsive, the door opens nicely, it’s very roomy and the features work well. So happy with the purchase.

In February I bought a Maytag microwave. It would not turn on.. 3 weeks later we received a replacement but it came with an indent on the side of it. We were told that it was the last one and Maytag no longer makes that one. So we returned to Best Buy and ordered the Frigidaire. Well as it turns out we like the beauty of this a lot more than the Maytag.

I bought 2 of these in 2018 (one for us, one for in-law suite). One started blowing fuses whenever microwave door was opened after 3 years. The other started doing the same after 5 years. Paid $260CDN to get one repaired 5 months ago and today, it blew a fuse again. Both unusable and now heading for garbage, will not throw any more money into these. Another issue: the “stainless steel” handle quickly developed bubbles and is peeling off - it’s not stainless steel, just a sticker that doesn’t like heat (odd manufacturing choice for an over the range microwave). Frigidaire and vendor not helpful in rectifying this - would cost hundreds to replace whole door just for the handle (which can’t be bought separately) which I assume would just bubble again if they’re still using stickers instead of the stainless you’ve paid for. Save your money and just buy something cheap, will cost you less to just replace it if something goes wrong rather than fixing a Frigidaire over and over again, as they seem to need.

I bought this model 3 weeks ago and noticed the door does not close evenly and is misaligned with control panel. When closing the door it is being forced upward to lock and may eventually cause premature wear in the future. _x000D_ The exhaust fan is noisy, rattles on Medium setting and has a surging sound running on Medium and Low. Do not know the problem even after re-leveling the unit. _x000D_ _x000D_ For the installation instructions, there seems to be some miscommunication. The instructions say to install a center bolt (approx above door latch area) to hold the microwave snug to the cupboard, however, there is NO location "B" as mentioned in the instructions that should be on the template and no hole in the top of the microwave to accept a bolt. With only having 2 bolts holding the microwave up seems not too stable to hold 65 to 85 lbs to the cupboard. Don't most microwaves have center bolts for a total of 3 bolts holding the units up? Our last microwave lasted 14 years, but not sure this one will.

Had to replace the previous appliance and have had good success with Frigidaire so picked the new one and it has worked really well. Very quiet compared to our previous one and has good features. It’s only been a few weeks but would recommend .

Loving the new microwave.. quiet.. the presets make life so much easier..the exhaust function is a significant upgrade from our previous… highly recommend!!

We installed my new microwave last weekend and it’s been fantastic learning all the new features. I love how quiet it is, especially the 3 speed fan!! The add 10 or 30 seconds is a great feature!
