I am very happy with my new Frigidaire freezer. I downsized from a 20 cu. ft., and the 16 cu ft holds a lot more than I thought it would. I love the green light showing at the bottom of the freezer, telling me that all is well. We have had a number of small power outages lately and my freezer has held up well.

This freezer is much nicer than expected. The door is easily changeable from left to right opening. Loads of space inside. I like the blue light under the door so I know that it's working. But, my favorite feature is that it keeps food frozen for a few days if the power is out. As a Floridian, with hurricanes and severe storms that cause us to lose power at times, for me, that is it's best feature.

I installed this one month ago and I like that it consumes minimal energy, has a door alarm if left open for more than five minutes, has bright led interior lights, and has a green led exterior light so I know the power is on. _x000D_ _x000D_ My only wish is that we could select on which side the the door was hinged when purchasing.

lost "open door alarm" function by reversing the door!! _x000D_ (no electrical hook up available on left side)_x000D_ otherwise it seems great so far (only 1 month old)
