5 Great features and love the look

Love the induction top so easy to keep clean and heats up quick. The oven size is large. Nice to have the extension rack and air fry basket rack. Nice to have all the cooking options available, enjoying the steam roast and steam bake. It has been a bit of a learning curve but easy to use after you understand how. My only complaint would be the cook timer as it needs to be pushed again after you set the time, I often forget and it will just cancel itself.

3 Great oven, good stovetop marred by quality issues

The oven is fantastic. The stovetop isn’t super reliable, I’ve had to reset it by turning off our breakers. I’m concerned I’ll need warranty service soon enough. The auto off feature is sometimes annoying as you may move a pot of the heat for a moment and then move it back but have to turn the stove back on and set the temperature controls again.

5 Loving this range

I bought this a couple weeks ago to replace an LG electric range, and the bottom line is this range is a pure joy to use. I haven't yet used all the features, but hope to get to some baking with it soon as well.

4 Excellent oven and superb induction cooktop... with one catch

This "professional" level range replaced the older Frigidaire induction range I had previously._x000D_ _x000D_ I was happy with that range--despite its limitations of age and technology--but it needed replacing after years of heavy use. _x000D_ _x000D_ So: the great things about this range are important and wonderful. The physical design of the drop-in is excellent, with handles being away from heat vents (unlike a lot of designs) and no sharp edges to catch your fingers. _x000D_ _x000D_ The oven itself is excellent at heating up quickly and holding heat. The "no preheat" really works for many items, as advertised, and when you do preheat for more serious baking, it's relatively quick, very accurate and not too "peaky" at all (I verified this with a thermoworks probe). _x000D_ _x000D_ The induction top is powerful and excellent, which I've come to expect from Frigidaire. They make great stovetops. _x000D_ _x000D_ Build overall is a step-up, as it should be, in a range at this level. Is it rock-solid? There are some spot welds here and there that may not last, but overall, it's very good. _x000D_ _x000D_ So why one star off a full-excellent rating? _x000D_ _x000D_ Because of a serious design flaw. The induction top is controlled by a touch screen. Yeah, it looks cool, but no, it's not very functional. The touch controls are sensitive to--wait for it--moisture. Now, I don't know about you, but if I'm transferring pasta from a pot of water to a pan of sauce, there's a good chance a stray piece of pasta might land on the controls (which are in front of the burners on the top of the stove). _x000D_ _x000D_ When that happens--and it has happened to me--the entire cooktop shuts off! When that happens, you need to dry the cooktop, turn it back on, then reset all your burners! Ridiculous. _x000D_ _x000D_ Similarly, if your fingers are wet / damp, the controls will *not* respond effectively. _x000D_ _x000D_ It's also worth noting there's no "well" in the range--the top is perfectly flat, so a boil over will spill across the whole range (and onto the controls, too!). _x000D_ _x000D_ So while the designs here look cool, they're less than useful for actual cooking (and I saw the lack of well when I bought it, so that's on me, but the control wonkiness isn't something I thought would happen). _x000D_ _x000D_ This is a big negative in an otherwise superb range. Buyer beware: if you're a neat cook you won't have a problem... but if you're a little less dexterous, like I am, there can be trouble.

4 Cool kitchen

Working with this stove for 3 weeks now. Still getting used to the handles of the Dutch oven still cool to the touch while food is crazy hot. Can't wait for summer to be able to cook in my kitchen and not heat everything up.
