After reviewing few other washers zeroed in this Frigidaire washer since this washer comes with lot more features for the price compared to others. I was looking for an agitator style washer with SS tub and this fits the bill, its been a month since the purchase and the washer has met our expectations so far.

I bought this washer a month ago and have absolutely no problems and has cut down on the energy bill. Doesn't use as much water as a traditional washer and gets them twice as clean. I would recommend this washer if you have a family!

The sales staff told me the best way to make sure your load gets enough water is to set it on maximum fill. He was correct but that wastes a lot of water. The only other setting is auto-fill but that doesn't even come close to covering the clothes. The machine in fact will start agitating without any water for a minute before stopping and hydrating. Not sure of the purpose of that, but the effrect is to bunch up the load to one side, leaving it unbalanced. When it starts agitating again, I can barely see any water, let alone water covering the clothes. My remedy to is stop the machine and manually add about five gallons of water before resuming the wash cycle. Maybe there are some smart technicians out there who know how to tweek the water level sensors. _x000D_ _x000D_ For the rinse cycle, fresh water is not added all at once to agitate the soap out of the fabric. Instead, the machine goes on full spin while sprinkling water water in from the top. Most of rinse water misses the clothes entirely because the centrifical force presses the load against the wall of the tub while the water sprays down the center to the bottom of the tub. Just the same, I detect no soapy residue at the end. _x000D_ _x000D_ When shopping for a washer, I sought out the smaller capacity but not apartment sized machines. There are only two of us in this house and we rarely need to do a full load. Clearly, this washing machine works best when loaded to capacity. _x000D_ _x000D_ The temperature setting also seems a little off kilter. The water isn't even room temperature at the warm setting. Of course this depends upon the water heater and proximity, but my water is plenty hot and close by. Frigid air means frigid water too, I guess._x000D_ _x000D_ Overall, I am satisfied with this washing machine, even with the issues noted above. The wash comes out clean with nearly all the water spun out. I only wish there were manual settings that allowed me to override the automatic features.
