My new freezer is missing many of the features I loved in my old 17-year-old Frigidaire that died recently. The new freezer has only one small basket, which is almost useless because it has no front. Not great. Fortunately one of the baskets from my old freezer fit inside my new one, so I was able to create more usable storage space. We have a lot of bags of frozen fruit and vegetables from our garden, so having baskets was really handy in my olde freezer. My old freezer had a thermometer on the door so I could always easily see AND SET the EXACT digital temperature. My new Frigidaire only has an indicator on the door that does NOT say the temperature, nor does it allow you to set a precise temperature. Not great. I had to buy a little thermometer to put inside, so I at least know the internal temperature, but I still can't set the temperature to the exact setting I want. Oh, and the plate on the indicator was applied crooked. Not great. The door on my old Frigidaire opened within the frame of the freezer, without needing extra space. My new Frigidaire door opens OUTSIDE the frame of the freezer, requiring extra space. Not great. Because I have my freezer (and washer, dryer) in a closet, this created a tight space problem. We now can never open the door past 90º. Not great. Our old freezer door "sucked itself closed" but the new one seems to have a space about a foot away from being closed where it likes to hang open. Not great. It does seal well. If you close the door and then have to open it right away, the entire freezer pulls forward as you pull on the door. Not great. The price to have our old freezer repaired was about the same as buying a new freezer. We wished we had kept our old Frigidaire freezer and paid for the replacement of the refrigeration system. I wish I had something positive to say about our new freezer. Perhaps if it lasts 17 years I will be happy.

As silly as this may sound, I love this freezer, there is SO much room in it, I can see everything! I would highly recommend this freezer to anyone! Size, price everything was fantastic. _x000D_ Oh thing that was a little challenging was changin the door from opening on the right side to left. The wiring was hard to work with and we hard a hard time with the little clamps. But after 40 minutes we got everything done. Still love this freezer!

This freezer was purchased to replace our previous freezer which had to be defrosted every 3 or 4 months. This involved emptying the whole freezer into boxes, allowing time to defrost and then wiping out the freezer before replacing all the frozen goods. This is not a requirement for the new freezer and we are looking forward to just storing food and withdrawing as required.

We have had our freezer for 3 weeks now and couldn’t be happier with its performance. The storage is excellent and the lighting is superior enabling us to see all our frozen food easily to pick and choose and not overlook those dark corners. We are able to see what we want quickly thus getting the product and quickly closing the door Highly recommended!

The freezer arrived as advertised. There is plenty of room, well lit and everything is easily accessed compared to our old chest freezer.

We got the freezer about 15 days ago to replace an aging freezer that was too small. We chose it because the shelves were adjustable and we added an extra shelf. Love that the temperature controls are on the door exterior. We are very happy with this purchase.
