I purchased my new home on April 1st with a suite of Frigidaire appliances. The light bulbs vent hood and it hasn't been three weeks. To make matters worse, it's almost impossible to get the bulb loose to replace it.

We purchased this unit 2.5yrs ago. A couple of months ago one of the buttons flew off when we had pushed another. I had a repair man in to fix another appliance and had him look at it, and he said the whole button panel would need to be replaced. I called the manufacturer and this part is $250 plus tax. That seems too high given the cost of a new unit. We will probably live with it for a while and not be able to use the third level fan and replace it down the road. Disappointed as finish is nice and it matches our stove and fridge. Both the stove and fridge haven't given us any issues. Besides the button issue, the MR16 lamps are a really big pain. Overall there probably is something better.

We purchased this convertible range hood to operate without ducting to the outside. However, when we put the hood in place, our cabinets almost completely covered the exhaust outlet at the top. If you are using this hood with a duct then it may be fine, as I believe the metal plate for the exhaust outlet only has to be removed if you are using this hood to recycle the air (ductless). Our cupboards are only 12 inches deep, which I believe is standard, so this seems to be a design flaw with the hood. The store will not allow us to return it, so now I’ve got a brand new, unusable range hood decorating my basement.

I bought this product about a year ago. One selection button fell out. That is bad design. Its still under warranty. However it's been a month and a half, i have called the manufacturer many times, but it has not been resolved. Hope this gets resolved quickly. Would not recommend.

we bought this hood today,but we cannot use it as it comes without carbon filter. We found in description that "carbon filter "- yes,but it's doesn't mean it supplied it's mean that you can buy if you can find it._x000D_ It is mission impossible to find it. Useless purchase for 350 can $.

Follow up review. I have this hood less than 3 months. I does work very well, no problems so far. We have recirculating option which required carbon filter which we couldn't find. We call customer service which is very helpful who help us to get the filter. _x000D_ I read alot bad reviews about flying buttons broken lamps,but nothing happened to our hood. Its slightly noizy when its work on high speed,but even more exspensive have the same problem if its the problem. The stronger sound its mean the stronger power._x000D_ This unit has very strong power and deliver clean air._x000D_ Thank you Frigedaire!

2 of the Buttons fell into the Range Hood and I cannot retrieve them. I have removed the filters and tried reaching the front of the unit to find them but due to product design it's not possible

Bought this to match my new frigidaire fridge and stove. Looks nice, but 3 days 1 bulb burnt out, 2 days later the second._x000D_ _x000D_ Large store where I bought it says I have to call the manufacturer a week later - lol.. I did but the call volume.. have to waste more time and call back._x000D_ _x000D_ Lights got hot. Really hot. _x000D_ _x000D_ I hope I will be reimbursed for replacement LED lights at minimum and that this isnt a sign..

It has been two years since I have purchased this product. A few months ago, while pressing the button for exhaust, one of the range hood control buttons went inside the range hood. I tried to retrieve it but could not. Yesterday another control button just flew off. I found the button as it flew outside and have kept it hoping to get it fixed. Besides, one of my halogen lights went off after a few months of purchase followed by the other. Not happy with the choice I have made.
