5 Excellent product with many features

This is a sleek looking vent hood with options to vent into the kitchen or through the roof. We elected to vent through the roof. The fan is very quiet even on the 3rd high speed. The filter is easy to remove for cleaning. The lights are bright over the cooktop. I would not use these lights as a nightlight because of the heat generated by them. Very pleased with the vent hood.

1 Good hood but...

We got this from our builder in the new home, worked great for us for about 14 months. But after 14 months though, the low speed fan button came unglued and has since fallen into the hole in the hood it came out of, and soon after all fan speed buttons came of. There is no way to fix this and only way is to get it replaced. For a product that costs about 250+, getting only 1 year out if that product is not good.

1 Terrible Design for Fan Buttons Do Not Buy!

We got this from our builder in our new home, it worked great for us for about 3 months. But after 3 months the low speed fan button came unglued and has since fallen into the hole in the hood it came out of, and soon after all fan speed buttons came off. It was replaced under warranty but now 2 years down the road 2 of the buttons are inside the hood and I have to use one to put in the different fan speed holes to operate. Trying to figure out how to get them out but there doesn't seem to be screws to take apart. Bad bad bad design!!! DO NOT BUY!!!!!!

1 Inexpensive appearance + burned out bulbs!

This vent hood came with our new home as an upgrade! (can't believe we had to pay extra for this!) Has a very cheap/inexpensive feel...including push buttons for fan or lights. After only 3 weeks in our new home, first light burned out; next week second light burned out. Called Frigidaire twice, they told me those lights were cosmetic and not covered under warranty....even after burning out in a few weeks of ownership! I cook a lot so use these lights (but not abusively.) Plus the entire hood gets very hot with lights on. Finally found the only product to clean without smear marks is Windex!

2 Problem with buttons

We have had this range hood for three years but only have used the hood for several months as this is a seasonal house for us. Two of the buttons that control the vent speed have fallen into the hood. Cannot figure out how to fix the problem

1 Poor design

we purchased this item expecting it to last at least a few years but unfortunately due to poor design the buttons fall off that adjust speed of the fan, beware if you buy this item it will happen to you with no help from frigidaire

3 Great lighting

I enjoy the function of the unit. I was less than impressed it didn’t come with a charcoal filter and they were no longer available from you! Bought an aftermarket filter that kinda fits but that’s my only choice!

1 Garbage

Yet another Frigidaire appliance I have to replace in my new home. This is supposed to vent directly outside, all it does is blow smoke around. Piece of garbage. Stuck with multiple pieces of garbage, and there's nothing I can do about it. I'll be out 10k replacing appliances.

5 Sleak

The range hood was installed in a new home we bought. The design is low profile and doesn't dominate the area above the cook top.
