Within a few months of purchasing this range hood, the buttons for control of the fan fell into the range hood cover! The halogen lights provide fantastic bright light but are very difficult to remove and replace. We have one that has been burnt out for months and it remains stuck in the range hood. On this basis this is NOT a product I would recommend.

I enjoy this range because we don’t have to scream over to have conversations while we are cooking.

I don’t recommend it, it came with our house.Within few months and very limited use the speed knob came out when I tried to put it back in its place it fell in and I can’t get it out. Wonderful customer service said it was user fault, seriously my fault by turning it on , so was I supposed to just look at it. I spent over 30 min on call arguing with the rep , was told they will send me replacement piece that cost $197 , what a joke the range probably cost $250. What should I do with the replacement item I can’t install it myself, I will be following up with customer service, no way I am paying for an appliance that is still under first year of warranty.

This unit was installed in our home when it was built and has worked very well until this week when one of the fan buttons pushed through the frame. It was followed a couple of days later by a second button. I've read a number of reviews on this model that all claim likewise. Such a fatal flaw for a otherwise outstanding product. You'd think they would have cracked the code on it by now...

I just got the new home from D.R. Horton. The hood is not broken but the button keeps coming out every time when I tried to turn it off. One day, I tried to put it on, and the button fell into the hole. I called warranty for repairmen. She said they don’t repair it, and will send me the debt card. Unfortunately, I haven’t received it in 3 weeks.

The push buttons for the fan and light pop off easily when you shut it off or change fan speeds. The 2nd fan speed button popped out and when we tried to put it back on it fell into the hood where it can’t be retrieved.

Installed by home builder Nov 2017, well it appears same problem persist of the buttons fallen off and you try to put in and it falls all the way in.... appears to be a design flaw.. only last a few years.
