This was the last addition to our kitchen appliances. Ultimately we would have preferred one with buttons that weren't so clunky. But we couldn't beat the price and the two of us installed it ourselves relatively easily.

We bought this for its clean, compact design but are very satisfied with it overall. Quality seems good and installation was relatively easy. It moves a lot of air without being overly noisy. My only complaint is that the operation of the switches seems a bit crude...although I do really like that they are mechanical push-button switches and not electronic touch switches.

We had a light that wouldn't work. I called the company and they sent someone out right away. Unfortunately the new unit was inoperable. They had a new unit out and installed the next day.

The filter of this range is expensive, about $60+ and I cannot find the replacements except from Frigidaire.

I bought this six months ago and the #3 fan button just fell off and disappeared inside the hood. What am I supposed to do now? I planned to use this for years. Like the halogen lighting though.

I too had the same issue as others with a button falling off. It's outside of warranty, so I called an authorized service center to get the button fixed. The quote I was given: $229.35 for parts, $17.83 tax, and $99.98 labor for a total of $347.16. To fix the button that fell out on this $269 hood. So, I guess I need to buy a new hood. I recommend looking elsewhere for a range hood.
